The Electric City Classic is in beautiful Scranton, PA

The main event featured professional cycling at its best! Pros from around the world navigated a highly-technical course at speeds up to 40 mph through the streets of downtown Scranton. The 2022’s race was designated as the Pennsylvania State Criterium Championship. All categories will race for the state championship* from Novice to Pro!

The Electric City Classic Hill Climb was a short but challenging cycling sprint up Olive Street (between Taylor and Prescott Avenues) in the Hill section of Scranton. Original, exposed bricks at the top of the hill were a bonus for those brave enough to take on this steep, historic hill.

Scranton Running Company presented the Electric City Classic 1-mile Dash to jumpstart the day on foot instead of two wheels.
